The representative company survey for the region of Rhein-Main is carried out by the IWAK and the above mentioned cooperation partners on an annual basis. The survey aims to get estimations on the future development of the labour market and to identify regional problem areas. The results of the survey are released to the public as they are meant to enhance the information held by labour market actors.

Main topics of the survey are:

A prognosis made by the companies on next year’s employment situation

Difficulties appearing by the filling of jobs (Mismatch)

Qualification needs and qualification behaviour of companies

Additionally, there are questions about an annually changing focus topic.
