Oliver Nüchter has studied sociology, romance studies and political science at the Goethe University (Frankfurt, Germany). Since 2000, he has been Research Assistant at IWAK. He has several years experience in research and in projects, from the conception, execution and analysis of representative surveys, social politics and social indicators, as well as company-based advanced training. Between 2001 and 2003, he managed the execution phase of the “ProIT – the Hessen IT Skilled Labour Initiative” project, in which he was active in a representative company survey, the area of company-based advanced training, as well as the Internet presence of the project. From 2004 to 2008, he was in the core team for the “Conditions to the Social State” project. His core responsibilities included the management and analysis of the annual Migration Survey data, producing the project report for the Federal Ministry for Labour and Social Services (BMAS), as well as the coordination of the full project. Since the beginning of 2009, he manages the “Surveys and Methods” section at IWAK and the analysis of the IAB Company Survey for Hessen and Rhineland-Palatinate.
