Ruth Hasberg studied sociology, political science and medieval and recent history at the Goethe University (Frankfurt, Germany). Her studies focused primarily on the analysis of social inequality. Since 2008, she has done free lance work for IWAK, especially in the fields of poverty studies and social structure analysis. Ruth Hasberg is co-author on the study “Development of Poverty and Wealth in Rhineland-Palatinate”, which was conducted for the Rhineland-Palatinate Labour Ministry. This study also served as the foundation for the Fourth Poverty and Wealth Report for Rhineland-Palatinate.
